6 years- almost to the day! Back in 2010 my goal was 5-7 years. Lo and behold smack dab in the middle of my goal it has happened-- we are moving "home"!
Matt has been offered a position in Oklahoma, we have accepted, and the good-byes have begun. AGAIN.
I wish I could list ALL the great experiences, adventures and wonderful people we have been met during these 6 years. Great neighbors and friends. Connections through churches we have attended. We are just so very fortunate to have found things that are so difficult to say good-bye to. AGAIN.
This one is especially tough. Kids are older. Friends have been made. All three are struggling to leave friends they have grown to know and love. Support systems I have found and established are not easy to walk away from. AGAIN.
But, to see how God has blessed us with friends and support in the past, I trust if we open our hearts He will be faithful to do the same AGAIN.
But it still stings. Especially to look into the weary eyes of my kids. Fortunately they have a strong love of their family and see the importance of being near cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. So, we will hold on to that and count ourselves lucky to have friends stretching from Arizona to Georgia should we ever travel west or east!
Travel I say, because this is IT. I am not moving AGAIN!
