It just seemed natural to dress in our Star Wars fan gear for Halloween this year! The kids had their outfits ALL planned out to rewear for the opening of the new Star Wars movie coming out in December. I’m partial, but think they are the cutest little Star Wars geeks ever!
We also enjoyed some community fall fun! McDonough square has a huge display of scarecrows each fall. Isaac loved the Chewie display and Emma loves anything owls!
We also attended a Girl Scouts trunk or treat with some of our Girl Scout friends.
Emma (R2D2) scoured Pinterest and came up with the ideas for her costume. Thanks to the popularity with the new movie Target dollar spot had hats, Amazon had the knee socks & the t-shirt. Turned out super cute! Goodwill and my sewing skills saved the day for Hans Solo. Isaac’s jacket was super cute and came from Penney’s. I sewed some basic pants from brown fleece and added some crafty fur. He loved making his “chewie” sound. Ha! Hans & Chewie- an inseperable duo!
