I sincerely doubt all those years ago when Matt constructed this cabinet as a woodshop project in school that he imagined it once housing the toys of his children. Ha! But after many years of being filled with fragile china in his mother's kitchen it became ours.
This is the best "before" photo I have. Always an after thought for me.
Considering the boys have an over abundance of toys in their room I thought this would make a fantastic storage solution for them. I decided on a fresh coat of paint in their favorite color – ORANGE. Next up, removal of the *glass* doors that had Isaac's-next-brush-with-death written all over them. We found this decorative cut metal work to replace the glass. Hides the contents and will withstand crazy boys.
Looks great next to the bed Matt built several years ago! A room full of furniture made with love!
