I was SO excited one day as I drove Aidan home from PreK and saw a billboard advertising a circus in the area. The kids had never been to a circus and then to learn that it is the largest circus still held under a big top tent!! AwEsOmE!!
The circus was set up at Atlantic Motor Speedway which is only about 10 minutes from our house. The kids were most excited about the elephants and most leery about the clowns. :)
We arrived early with enough time to take in our surroundings. The best observation had to be Aidan who noticed the "vents" in the top of the tent where the very tall poles made the peak high points of the tent. He said "I know what those holes are for. In case an elephant farts so it won't be stinky." :)
The tigers entered the tent first. The boys went for a closer look.
It was amazing to see two people in an enclosure with so many tigers!
Intermission- snow cones: check! photo with elephant: CHECK!!
Amazing acrobatics under the tent!!
Girls hanging and spinning by their HAIR!! Pink poodles!!
Aidan getting ideas for a future trick. 3 motor cycles in the circle cage!!
The elephants did not disappoint!!
And the baby elephant was the HIT!!!
Grand finale was the human cannon ball!!!
