I had the pleasure of attending Aidan's Mother's Day Tea at his Preschool this month. He had painted me a beautiful "masterpiece" and decorated a flower pot. We enjoyed a snack of muffins & fruit.
Following the Mother's Day tea we decided to see what all the talk was about Southern Belle Farms. We spent the beautiful day picking 3 big ole buckets of berries, jumping on the "pillow" and Momma enjoyed the best homemade strawberry ice cream I've EVER tasted!
Next came Aidan's 6th Birthday. Slightly overshadowed with some drama from daddy's work that had us preoccupied for the day, but nothing the kids noticed as we spent the day celebrating Aidan's bday at school, then visiting Fernbank museum and having dinner at McDonalds.
Aidan graduated PreK Thurs. the 23rd. He physically grew leaps and bounds in his final & "extra" year in PreK. He also matured in ways I never really imagined! He went from a squirrely little boy to a more focused (thanks to his glasses!) and very much a teacher pleaser student!! So very proud of his growth!

During our neighborhood wide garage sale Emma hosted her annual Cupcake Kids bake sale to raise money for 60 Feet ministry. She and her friend Jaeda baked up several dozen cupcakes & sold refreshing lemonade to follow up the sweet treats.
The week after Memorial Day Matt's parents were here to visit. We didn't do much their first day here. Visited & took the kids to the pool. Thursday Peggy & I took Emma to NorthPoint Mall to the American Girl Doll store. The boys went out to lunch and did as all men do- went to a home improvement store and installed under counter lighting in my kitchen!! YAY!
