Aidan's Tooth-riffic Adventure

It all started with shark boy growing rows of bottom teeth.  They were pulled by the dentist.  Thank God!

Then the tops got loose.  And they wiggled and wiggled.  Hung sideways.

Twisted and turned.  Twisted some more....to gross out his mom & sister!

Finally after buckets of tears I gather courage and gave it a big pull.  It was then I became his tooth puller of choice.  Well, problem is I hate wiggly, loose teeth.  Pulling teeth creeps me out!

The final top tooth was perhaps more dramatic than the first.  It had been hanging by a thread for days.  He seemed to forget it was loose and bit down HARD on a granola bar.  Blood.  Lots of blood. More tears.  An hour later and a couple tugs it was finally over!  Whew! Drama!  Such a cute smile he has now!

Not sure what it is about a kid losing their baby teeth that makes me so sad and sentimental.  Crawling, walking, talking, other milestones- ok.  Adult teeth growing in...NOOOO!!!!!
