The kids very much enjoyed the unusual occurrence of snow in Georgia. Besides a 10 minute play time in a St Louis restaurant parking lot a year ago Christmas Isaac hadn't really seen snow. It was a January we will always remember from our time in Georgia!
I was NOT surprised this was one of Aidan's first things to do. :)
I guess Emma forgot how cold snow is barehanded?
This guy was in heaven! He went through all the gloves we had and ended up with socks on his little hands. I was shocked they stayed out for about an hour and a half!
As time went on though Isaac wanted more covering. Thick coat, scarf, layers of socks on his hands. He was having a hard time "breeving" but it didn't stop him from playing!
The neighbor boys joined in and Emma was way outnumbered. Not sure what she was going to do with the watering can?!?
Once inside I was surprised Aidan never mentioned his legs being cold. His pants were frozen stiff all the way up to his knees and where snow packed inside and out!
Luckily we were home safe and sound and not stuck on the road for hours upon hours like so many. This state certainly isn't prepare for such a winter event!
