7. Not a little boy anymore.

My sweet middle boy.  The one who luckily is so easy going when it comes to his birthday parties, cause it always seems his birthday is a crazy time.

His first: an unseasonably COLD day in May when we planned a picnic in the park party (transportation theme).  His 2nd was pretty normal and complete with Thomas the Train.  His 1st & 2nd cakes made by my fabulous baker friend.

His 3rd was a hodge podge Cars party as we were preparing to move from KS to AZ.  His 4th was another park party in AZ with the 2 families we knew at the time (theme superheroes). Mommy attempted cakes for these two.

Then came Happy 5th birthday-we-just-moved-into-the-house-after-living-in-a-hotel-for-3-months Power Ranger birthday party.  Thank you American Cookie Company.  Next up Happy Mario Brothers 6th birthday at preschool because we were hiding from our house thanks to a cra-cra employee at daddy's work who issued a death threat on our family. Thanks again American Cookie Company.  I love you and your cookies.

And now:  Happy 7th mommy-is-under-the-weather-so-you-get-another-cookie-cake birthday! But hey- it has a Minecraft creeper on it.  Plus he got Legos which makes him happy.  And I promise mommy will make you a cake next year come moving, surgery, hell or high water! :)  He is consistent with one thing- he ALWAYS chooses McDonald's as his birthday meal of choice.  Emma- hibachi grill $150, Isaac buttered noodles at home $2., Aidan- gagDonald's. every.single.time.

And they were both pretty excited about this gift:
