Super duper, easy peasy project alert!!
I've been needing a place for the kids to display their work and projects for sometime. I finally narrowed down ideas from Pinterest paired with the wall space I had and came up with this:
We bought an 8 ft 1x3 pine board. I cut it down to size using this bad boy all by my big girl self- with the doubtful help of my loving daughter. Ha!
A light sanding followed by a coat of stain left over from the TV console project finished the two boards. Next, I screwed in 6 picture eyelets, one on each end and one in the middle of each board. I looped picture wire through the eyelets and secured.
Add several binder clips and whahla your artwork is hung!
Adds a little pizzazz to our back hallway! My only regret now that they are up is that I only made two. I wish I would have made three. I could have moved these two up a bit and had room for one more. Darn. To much wall repair work to fix that now. Boo. One per kid would have been smart...cause Emma easily fills one with a small portion of her creations! :) Now to decide what to cut out in vinyl for above- "Stout Gallery", "Stout Studio", "Our Masterpieces", etc.
What do you think???
