We finally started our skeletons for science this week as we are about half way through learning about the skeletal system. Even Isaac got into this activity. No comment on his version of the human anatomy-
There are just.no.words- only laughter!
Emma took her skeleton a few steps further by adding Qtip metacarpals on her hands.
Aidan's favorite part was the skull/brain flap feature. Note the correct location of the brain. ;) We will be adding more to their bodies as we continue through our study of human anatomy.
Emma taught Isaac the lesson of Joseph and his coat of many colors. Isaac loves tape so he was especially happy to decorate with this rainbow tape!
We started reading from this book each afternoon. The upcoming movie Box Trolls was inspired by this book. Aidan is absolutely loving it. He loves being read to!
One Wednesday a month Emma and Aidan are taking classes at the zoo. This gave Isaac and I two hours together at the zoo and he loved every last minute of it!
Thursday Emma had guitar lessons- which equates to park play time for the boys! They seem to always be in the need of time to run off energy! We are so very blessed that Ms. Rachel will be able to continue private lessons with Emma this school year!!
Isaac's current workbook has him working on numbers 0-10. He's loving this alligator number line I printed for him. He seems to love numbers just like his older siblings. We've made some math lovers!
This weekend Matt and I took a trip to Senoia for dinner with some friends from church, one of whom was having a birthday. We had such an awesome time out with adults!! Dinner at Maguire's pub. It was so nice and so yummy! We also completed some projects around the house including my new art wall display.
After church on Sunday Emma and I went for a quick shopping trip. There were a few things she was needing and I just had to go back and get a shirt I had previously found for Isaac. It had his name all over it! Ha! Why?? See here and here.
